What is in bloom in December 2020

This year was very warm, not only in the records of the meteorologists. We felt it too. We had cloudy days with high air humidity. More orchids are spiking to bloom, but there are still a few plants opening yet.

Zelemnia midas – many plants in bloom and spike
Cattleya Ann Joi and Cattleya Anne Banmore are blooming and spiking
Holcoglossum – more flower spikes, but I expect them to bloom in a month
Laelia rubescens x Broughtonia negrilensis many flower spikes
Paphiopedilum exul
Dendrobium Hibiki – the first plant opened and is very nice
Paphiopedilum Maudiae is spiking
Nearly all Phalaenopsis are in spike, no blooms yet.
Bulbophylum Sheryl Kurizaki – many plants with many blooms each
Bulbophyllum auratum
